The ever-popular Society of Beer Drinking Ladies is holding a particularly big event this weekend. That’s right, it’s Lady Beer Fest time again!
The bevy team has brought together over a dozen Ontario breweries (plus cideries, meaderies and distillers) from across the province. Naturally, food is also a big part of the plan with four women-owned businesses set up as vendors on that side.
This time, the event comes back to Wychwood Barns, a venue that is easier than average to get to by transit. There will be a single session for the event, starting at 6 p.m.
Firecracker Comedy Project and Girl Gang Cabarets have put together the entertainment portion of the evening, including comedians like Elvira Kurt.
As has become their standard practice, SOBDL will donate a portion of ticket sales and all bar tips to the Canadian Women’s Foundation.
You’re convinced on how awesome this event is? Great, here’s how you can win a pair :
You must be 19 to enter the contest, which on September at 5 p.m. The event is only open to those who identify as a woman.
